I guess every one has one of such days. The crux is, I wasn't prepared for this. I mean, sometimes you can tell that the day tomorrow will be horrible because of an impending event. I didn't expect things to crop up last minute, feelings like unleashed devils going haywire..
I think the bible is right. Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things". The heart has caused me to sin countless times today. Not that all the thoughts which ran through my mind were evil, but I take responsibility for not keeping an even tighter rein on emotions.
Quotes the pastor who once said these words of wisdom to a friend of mine - "When you feel like using your brain, use your heart. When you feel like using your heart, use your brain". Essentially he is saying, maintain the delicate but achievable balance.
And once again, I thank the Lord who has seen me through all rough patches and shown me nothing else but grace. Who else in this whole wide world can tame the ferocious devil in me? None but Him.
As for now, back to work! I've got a feeling, tonight's gonna be a long night. A super duper long night, like cinderella's. But, I will survive. He has always been with me.
Sharing with all of you, my loved ones, a song which comforted me greatly:
Every new day, Your glory unfolds Filling my eyes, with Your treasures untold The beauty of holiness brings worship anew My greatest love is You
Call me deeper into Your grace The river that flows from the Holy place Wash over me, cleansing me through My greatest love is You
i left my footprints (: 17:52Y
